The dictionary

Lexitaire's Ukrainian word list comes from the same wooorm/dictionaries collection’s Ukrainian Hunspell dictionary, also fully expanded to every inflected form, licensed GPLv3. Challenge links in this language currently only work between browser-version players — the native app doesn't support it yet.

Letters & tiles

The letter bag is 100 tiles: all 33 letters of the modern Ukrainian alphabet appear — a different 33 than Russian's: Ukrainian has ґ/є/і/ї (which Russian lacks) and lacks Russian's ё/ъ/ы/э. The tile distribution is corpus-derived, the same way as Russian's.

• Ukrainian's word list is the largest Lexitaire ships of any language — about 1.58 million playable word forms.
• Ukrainian's own catalog is written fresh throughout, not transliterated from Russian's, despite the two languages being related.
