The dictionary

Lexitaire's Norwegian word list comes from wooorm/dictionaries’ Bokmål dictionary (from the spell-norwegian project), licensed GPL. Challenge links in this language currently only work between browser-version players — the native app doesn't support it yet.

Letters & tiles

The letter bag is 98 tiles: 26 letters — 26 minus Q/X/Z plus Æ, Ø, and Å. The tile distribution is ported from Wikipedia's Scrabble letter distributions reference, the same authoritative source as Swedish's and Finnish's.

Worth knowing

• Lexitaire's Norwegian is specifically Bokmål, the dominant written standard, not Nynorsk.
