The dictionary
Lexitaire's Malay word list comes from SyafiqHadzir/Hunspell-MS (base dictionary forms only — full affix expansion would balloon this past 8 million inflected forms), licensed GPLv3 / LGPLv3 / FDLv1.3. Challenge links in this language currently only work between browser-version players — the native app doesn't support it yet.
Letters & tiles
The letter bag is 100 tiles: the full 26-letter alphabet, nothing excluded. The tile distribution is corpus-derived, the same way as Indonesian, Swahili, Tagalog, and Turkish.

Worth knowing
- Added for reach across Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore, which all share one written standard, so there's no dialect split to make here.
- Malay's vocabulary is its own, not a search-and-replace of Indonesian's — the two languages are close relatives, but modern Malaysian and Indonesian usage have diverged.
