The dictionary
Lexitaire's Hebrew word list comes from eyaler/hebrew_wordlists’ plain-text extraction of hspell, the open-source Hebrew spellchecker/morphological analyzer, licensed AGPL-3.0. Challenge links in this language open correctly in the native iPhone/iPad/Apple TV app too.
Letters & tiles
The letter bag is 98 tiles: all 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The five sofit (word-final) letter forms — ך, ם, ן, ף, ץ — fold onto their base letter for tile purposes, matching every historical Hebrew Scrabble edition's own convention. The tile distribution is ported from Wikipedia's Scrabble letter distributions reference — specifically the 2008 J. W. Spear & Sons/Mattel UK edition, across all 22 Hebrew letters, none excluded.

Worth knowing
- Hebrew is Lexitaire's second right-to-left language, alongside Arabic.
- Word lookups beyond Wiktionary go to Milog (מילוג), a free Hebrew-Hebrew dictionary.
- As of a recent update, Hebrew challenge links now open correctly in the native iPhone/iPad/Apple TV app too, not just between browser players.
