The dictionary

Lexitaire's Finnish word list comes from hugovk/everyfinnishword’s plaintext mirror of KOTUS’s (the Institute for the Languages of Finland) own official word list, licensed LGPL / EUPL v1.1 / CC BY 3.0. Challenge links in this language currently only work between browser-version players — the native app doesn't support it yet.

Letters & tiles

The letter bag is 99 tiles: 25 letters — 26 minus Q/X/Z plus Ä and Ö. The tile distribution is ported from Wikipedia's Scrabble letter distributions reference, the same authoritative source as Swedish's and Norwegian's.
